Our Nonprofit Organization and Events
The MTB Nonprofit Organization
Music Theater Bavaria, Inc. is a Florida not for profit corporation, and registered 501(c)(3) organization, based in Orlando. It was organized in October 2010 to operate the Music Theater Bavaria summer study abroad program founded by our General Director, Richard Owens, in the year 2000.
The members of our volunteer Board of Directors provide hands-on management of the program, working alongside our General and Artistic Directors, Richard and Rolann Owens. All of our resources are devoted to the MTB program, and the costs of providing the incredible array of training that it offers.
We are a small organization whose leaders are passionate about our educational mission. Our single focus is delivering the best possible summer program experience for young singers, actors and dancers who aspire to a career in opera or musical theater.
Our mission: To provide and support excellence in performing arts education through the operation of the Music Theater Bavaria summer program, and other related programs and events.
