Housing and Meals

Students and most of the faculty are housed in the Sporthotel Wilder Kaiser in Oberaudorf, in double hotel rooms with private baths.  Hotel amenities include a large outdoor courtyard, an indoor pool, a fitness room, walking/running trails, bike rentals, a restaurant with outdoor terrace, and wireless internet access.  Visit the hotel website at www.wilderkaiser.de.

MTB uses several outstanding restaurants for our group meals.  The hotel’s extensive breakfast buffet is included in the MTB price, 7 days a week, as is one substantial main meal per day, Monday through Friday.  The weekday group meal is usually at midday, but sometimes at dinnertime, depending on our schedule.  We meet for many midday meals in the charming restaurant of Bernhard’s Alpenhotel, a top local dining destination.  Visit Bernhard's website at www.restaurant-bernhards.de.

We also dine frequently in the excellent Wilder Kaiser restaurant.  Students have easy access to inexpensive options for meals that are not included, as there is a large grocery store close to the hotel and there are several casual restaurants nearby.
