Two Week Dance Intensive
MTB offers an additional program option for dancers, who may choose to enroll in our Musical Theater Studio’s Two Week Dance Intensive.
Whether attending for two weeks or for the full month, dancers receive advanced training in Broadway dancing and singing techniques taught by experienced experts. Daily dance classes include ballet-based exercises and combinations in musical theater styles, including Fosse and other established methods.
Perhaps more importantly, class and individual voice lessons emphasizing vocal development and belting ability based on classical vocal teaching will provide MTB’s dancers with the highest quality vocal instruction. If you'd like to work in musical theater, you won't get far as a dancer who can't sing! MTB's top quality voice teachers can give you the tools that will make a difference in your career.
 Students choosing our Two Week Dance Intensive will have the opportunity to participate in all the activities of the Musical Theater Studio that are offered during the last two weeks of July, including performances, master classes, acting and movement workshops, and workshops on careers and auditioning.
(Note: Dancers who attend the full-month Musical Theater Studio will automatically be included in the 2-week Dance Intensive classes - and will benefit even more from the extra voice instruction!)

Students arrive at the Munich airport and are transported to Oberaudorf by MTB. (Students traveling by train or car from within Europe should arrive in Oberaudorf by Sunday afternoon.) |

Students are transported by MTB to the Munich airport (or leave for other destinations if traveling on their own). All students must check out by 11am, even if not going to the Munich airport. |

Tuition: $2,995.00
This includes tuition, hotel room and included meals (as described under About MTB), all class materials, all scheduled group transportation and group activities that are scheduled during the last 2 weeks of the program. (It does not include airfare, or other transportation from the student's home city. It does include transport from the Munich airport to Oberaudorf, and back to the Munich airport, if you are flying on the scheduled days.)
Payment Schedule:
A deposit of $250.00 is due within 2 weeks of notification of acceptance to MTB.
The balance of $2,745.00 is due as follows:
$1,745.00 by March 15, 2012, and
$1,000.00 by May 15, 2012.
Dates will be adjusted for later applicants.

Early Payment Discount:
Students who make their full tuition payment before February 1, 2012 may deduct $200.00 from the total amount due! (This does not apply to any scholarship recipients.)
Refund Policy:
Withdrawals from the program on or before March 15, 2012 will incur no cancellation charge other than your nonrefundable $250.00 deposit.
Withdrawals from the program after March 15, 2012 but before May 15, 2012 will incur a $1,000.00 cancellation charge, with the remainder of your payments refunded.
Withdrawals from the program on or after May 15, 2012 will receive no refund under any circumstances.
